PHONOLOGY AND LANGUAGE LEARNING : PRACTICAL TIPS
Abstract
This article examines the critical role of phonology in second language acquisition and provides practical strategies for integrating phonological awareness into language learning. Drawing on research findings and classroom experiences, the article offers practical tips for educators and learners, including techniques for improving pronunciation, developing auditory discrimination, and cultivating phonological memory. Emphasis is placed on a learner-centered approach and the importance of contextualized practice. The insights presented aim to bridge theory and practice, offering accessible and effective tools for improving language proficiency through phonological competence.
